FAQ's

How much space do you need?

Not much at all. For my equipment and props I need about a 5' by 5' area. Usually, your living room is a perfect place for this. Other than that, an area right in front of my performing area for the children to sit and enjoy the show is all that is needed. Most kids enjoy sitting on the floor right in front of the performance area. This makes it easy for them to come up an assist during the show.

Do you need a table?

No, I bring my own table so there's one less thing for you to worry about.

Can you perform the show outdoors?

Yes, I can providing the weather is decent. If the wind is blowing, that can be too much as some of my props are very light and will blow away. It's always safer to have it indoors plus there will be less distractions.

Can we serve the kids food and beverages during your show?

You may, but I do recommend serving treats & drinks before or after the show. It's a BIG distraction for the kids. At this age, they need the least amount of distractions as possible. So I HIGHLY recommend NOT serving goodies during the performance (the  show is based on audience participation so I need their hands to be free).

For the perfect party formula, I suggest serving the pizza or food just before the party, saving the cake for after the show.

Sheet Cake vs. Cup Cakes

I strongly suggest that you save yourself a headache by purchasing individual cup cakes for the children instead of a sheet cake.  Cake often becomes messy, especially with the cutting and serving of it.

Instead of a sheet cake piece, the children almost always finish the cup cake since it is smaller and easier to hold.

You can arrange the cupcakes in the shape of a cake with a candle in each one - so that way the birthday child can still blow out the candles.

I think you'll find that you save yourself a lot of hassles as well as cost, by serving cup cakes.

How much do you cost???

I offer two different show packages for children's birthday parties. For complete details, including pricing, simply fill out the quick & easy form at the bottom of our Main Page by clicking here.

Is the show clean and age appropriate?

Yes! My show is specifically geared towards the age of the child at hand. You can rest assured that if your child is 4 they will not be bored with a 10 year old magic show and vice versa.

Most magicians don't have an age specific show. I specialize in customizing my show to exactly what your child loves!

When's a good time to have you begin your show?

A good general rule of thumb is to have my show begin about a half hour after the party is to begin. This prevents distractions from late arriving guests. The show runs about 40 minutes.

I'm celebrating more than one child's birthday,
can you still entertain at our party?

Yes! I then have all of the b-day children be the stars of the show. Everything else is the same except we have a few more lucky helpers!

Do you know of any sources for birthday party goodies like plates, napkins, hats, etc.?

Yes! There is a great place called "Make Parties" that gets nothing but rave reviews from other moms. Check it out now by clicking here!

*Important: Can we hire you to entertain our children in one room while all of the adults hang out in another room?

Due to liability issues, I do require that all of the children be supervised at all times by at least one responsible adult (besides me). I simply can't be held responsible for supervising them. This is to protect you, the children and myself.

Can You give the goodie bags & balloons to
children under the age of 3?

Again due to liability issues, I do not offer goodie bags & balloon animals to children under 3.

I can't control what happens after I leave the party, but please don't give the goodie bags & balloons to children under the age of the 3. There are small parts in the goodie bags and balloons are choaking hazards for small children if swallowed, so I'd rather be safe than sorry. Also, please read above question.
